Great Spanish cuisine without driving down to Newark! Food is excellent, portions are large, visusl presentation is is photo worthy and the service is the best I've had at any top-notch restaurant. Love their sangria too.

Wonderful restaurant with an even more amazing staff! The customer service is unlike any restaurant I've been to. An amazing selection of food and you will almost always leave with leftovers because of how much of it you get!! The restaurant is great and I recommend it to anyone in need of a high quality dining experience!

We started with the olives in olive oil and garlic and the soft and fluffy bread that they bring to the table, so good! My friend and I shared 3 different appetizers that were all fantastic. The oysters on the half shell were the largest I have ever eaten, the calamari was enough for three people and the filet tips with cherry peppers was cooked so perfectly we cut them with butter knives. The tips are spicey without being overwhelming and it doesn't linger and burn your mouth. We also shared two of the best desserts ever! The tiramisu was amazing and just melted in my mouth. The pears in port sauce was the perfect combination of flavors with the port, the marinated pears and vanilla ice cream. All the restaurant staff is attentive and friendly and did not rush us out but kept filling our water glasses as we talked. An excellent experience and I will most certainly recommend this restaurant and return!

Villa Verde never disappoints. Well prepared food, very good service and reasonable prices. Our favorite take out food as well.

Delicious, authentic Spanish/Portuguese cuisine. Generous portions and excellent service amid cozy atmosphere.

Everything ordered was delicious! Started with garlic shrimp and the specials salad was perfect. Paella was really good but definitely a dish for sharing! Filet mignon was cooked to perfection and melts in your mouth. For dessert try the pears with the sauce and ice cream. I don't recall the name but it was fabulous.

Amazing restaurant, best Portuguese food in New Jersey. Waiters and owners are extremely personable. The attention to detail on every dish makes the experience second to none. No other Portuguese restaurant matches the overall taste, atmosphere, experience, and most impressively the service. I would recommend this restaurant to anybody and if you go to any other Portuguese restaurant, you will regret it.

Our experience was wonderful. John was a pleasure to work with for our event. The staff was respectful and efficient. The food was spot on, delicious!!

You must try their pineapple sorbet!!! It is delicious. You feel like you're on a beach in Bermuda enjoying the royal blue ocean. Love it❤

Very good Portuguese / Spanish restaurant. Very similar to the wonderful Segovia restaurant in Moonachie. Good food large portions reasonably priced. Don't forget to make a reservation especially on the weekend. See you there next Saturday...

What a great food and ambiance, the owner is very nice and friendly, when we went there he told us the whole history of the restaurant and how he end up there, it was really nice and a great experience. Fresh food and great wine 🍷 I recommend.

Absolutely love the food here! I live in Maryland and sometimes make the trip all the way to New Jersey just for the authentic Portuguese cuisine served here. It reminds my father of his home country and that alone makes the trip worth it. You definitely have 2 satisfied customers here in Maryland!

One of our favorite restaurants! If you are looking for steak or seafood this has to be a place on your list. The waiters and staff have been the same forever and they give you five star service! We bring the kids and they have chicken fingers and French fries and other options and my kids love them!Truly my go to place and can’t say enough great things about this place!

Vila Verde is a wonderful restaurant because they provide outstanding customer service as well as offer a great selection of foods. All of the staff at the restaurant will treat you with the utmost respect and understand your preferences and needs; they are able to accommodate people with different food allergies. The food is delicious because of the flavor and quality of ingredients. Family style side dishes are provided for the table which includes sliced potatoes, vegetables, and Spanish style rice, and the staff will happily offer you more of each side. The restaurant gives you enough food to have for an extra day and you can ask for the side dishes to be included with the food. The staff at Vila Verde exemplify the traits of proper customer service because you will always leave the restaurant satisfied.

I’m trying to keep my local restaurants afloat during the crisis by ordering takeout - villa verde is my go to ! Fabulous food, reasonably priced, and friendly staff - John and Paulino (the owners) are my friends. Manny and Rene the best bartenders ever. As I write this I’m parked in front of villa verde picking up my garlic shrimp dinner ! Go there now and treat yourself to the good life !

Best seafood anywhere! The chefs at Villa Verde always feature fresh seafood specials. And these are prepared to absolute perfection. This evening, it was Fresh Blue Point oysters on the half shell. Followed by soft shell crabs francese. As well as yellowfin tuna au poivre. And Pasta alla vodka with shrimp and scallops. Absolutely incredible! I should note, that I asked for the tuna medium, and got it exactly that way. Great work!

Outstanding restaurant! Phenomenal service and the food is exquisite. I’ve been fortunate to dine here for the past several years and I’ve never been disappointed. Everyone do yourselves a favor and visit this establishment as soon as possible!

We went on Mother's Day. We walked in exactly at our reservation time. We were immediately brought to our table. Service was excellent. The wait staff was very attentive. We loved the food. Going out on a holiday can be a disaster. Things could not have been any better.
